Abstract:
Frankfurt Book Fair has become the example on how this event trying to make a literature of a country known by the other countries through the literature as well as through the ideas and promotion of the culture. Frankfurt Book Fair could become a tools to improve the literature of Indonesia and Frankfurt Book Fair itself could be very important for a cultural diplomacy and nation branding for a country. The role of the government put an important part on the process of a country in preparing form of work for the Frankfurt Book Fair. The Anholt hexagon has become the justification on how Frankfurt Book Fair could become the platform for Indonesia to introduce their culture through cultural diplomacy as well as the soft power has become the method that use by the government to spread their culture which is litersture. Since 2014, The Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia gives the responsibility by engaging and creating the multiple sector which is called as National Committee. All the fundings come from the Ministry of Education and Culture but the activity for the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015 for example, selecting process, the presentation of culture and the translation program will be done by the National Committee as the multiple sector. The real result of the Frankfurt Book Fair 2015 is that the establishment of National Book Committee in 2016 and the continuity of Translation Funding Program which is called as LitRi Program that run by the National Book Committee and hopefully it will enrich the literature in Indonesia.
