Abstract:
The high rate of work accidents at PT AMP has an impact on decreasing productivity and production output produced by PT AMP employees. In this study there are two objectives, namely to find out what factors influence occupational safety and health and to determine the extent of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health program at PT AMP. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of interviews with HRD Managers showed that top management still cared about the safety and health of each employee's work, although in fact there was still a lack of personal protective equipment provided by the company. The results of interviews with supervisors indicate that the role of K3 affects work productivity even though there are still employees who violate the accident. The results of interviews with employees show that the application of K3 is needed by employees, especially in the production section. Based on the results of the study that the factors that influence K3 at PT AMP are the lack of personal protective equipment provided and the lack of socialization carried out by the company to employees. Another result is the implementation of K3 at PT AMP has not been implemented properly due to lack of adequate facilities and not in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Manpower. The implementation of the OSH program that has not been implemented well includes the lack of PPE facilities.
