dc.description.abstract The South China Sea Dispute is always been an interesting topic since it has such a complex conflict among involved parties. The number of tensions and incidents in the region would become the potential threat to the future of the regional peace and stability. The existence of the United States with its rebalance policy also has brought the competition between major states is increased. The situation is not only involving the claimant states but also non-claimant state. There have been some incidents ensued between claimant state and non-claimant state. China assertiveness in claiming its nine-dash line has threaten the stability of the region. Thus, Indonesia as non-claimant state and ASEAN member states which recently has concern on maritime aspect through its vision to become Global Maritime Fulcrum has prepared the implementation of its foreign policy especially on military and political aspects. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of Indonesia's Global Maritime Fulcrum regarding to the issue of the South China Sea dispute. en_US
