Abstract:
This project purpose is to provide a mini-model of a society to test the relevance of high level of knowledge, awareness, and participation in changing the society’s attitude towards the environment. The Salt Project is a movement that focuses on textile waste management by promoting responsible consumption and production through raising knowledge, awareness, and participation of the society (community engagement). The target range of the samples can vary within the Jabodetabek area. Then, the movement goes to the willingness of the society to expose themselves with the digital campaign via social media and direct engagement in the CFD events. This project is also in line with the UN’s SDG number 8, 12, and 13. First, in line with SDG number 8, the project comes in a form of small creative business that promote thrifting trend that promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth. Additionally, in line with SDG number 12, the project also aims to promote responsible economic growth by encouraging responsible consumption and responsible production. This study will cover further results on the project and see whether the modernization can go hand in hand with environmental cause and to see whether the factor.
