Abstract:
Bali as a popular tourist destination by many foreign tourists is very dependent on the
natural conditions that exist in these tourist attractions. Therefore, environmental sustainability
in Bali must be properly maintained from various pollution. The implementation of the SDGs
program by the Provincial Government of Bali through the "Bali Clean" and "Green Province
Road" programs since 2011 has been implemented to protect Bali's environment. The research
objective is to analyze the implementation of the SDGs that affect the preservation of the
marine environment in Bali. This type of research is qualitative research. The research
collection technique was carried out by interviewing the respondents. Respondents in the study
were village chiefs who were in charge of protecting the tourist environment of Kuta Beach
and Seminyak Beach, Bali. The research results obtained are the implementation of the SDGs
which affect the preservation of the marine environment in Bali. This is evidenced by the
positive impact on the surrounding community in the form of understanding and awareness of
the public, visitors, traders and companies regarding the importance of environmental
sustainability. While the positive impact on the environment obtained from the implementation
of the SDGs program is the maintenance of the cleanliness of villages and tourist attractions,
especially on Kuta Beach and Seminyak Beach in Bali.
