dc.description.abstract Solidaritas Perempuan (SP) as an organization whose focus is on the issue of women migrant workers and in this case women's solidarity has also strengthened the rights of migrant workers, especially women. Solidaritas Perempuan actively promotes policies to protect migrant workers, including with the network to fight for migrant workers, especially women workers. In fighting for the rights of migrant workers, Solidaritas Perempuan also provides assistance in cases of rights violations experienced. This study aims to determine the role played by the Women's Solidarity Institution in protecting women migrant workers. In writing this thesis the author formulated questions in developing the research, such What are the inhibiting factors as one of the things that can influence the Solidaritas Perempuan (SP) Institution in protecting and empowering women migrant workers?. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews, and several journals on google. Apart from the formulation of the problem above, the author also uses the theory of NGOs and Human Rights in strengthening his research. not only that, with this theory it is also hoped that it can further clarify the topic. The results of the study indicate that the assistance provided by the Women's Solidarity Institute to female migrant workers is one of the protection processes in providing facilities to help victims to fulfill their rights again, this can be seen together from the mentoring process provided by the Women's Solidarity Institute both cases through litigation and non-litigation as well as policies become links to supporting social resources. The protection carried out at the Women's Solidarity Institution, which is usually called strengthening, creates seeds that can directly participate in helping victims of female migrant workers from their previous experience when handling their cases. en_US
