dc.description.abstract |
This research aims to elaborate and analyze the relations between Indonesia and the Asia Foundation in the case of women empowerment program in Indonesia from 2008 until 2012. This research is elaborating the women empowerment programs that are conducted by the Asia Foundation in Indonesia, especially the women empowerment programs since 2008 until 2012. This research provide analysis about the relations between Indonesia and the Asia Foundation based on their cooperation in developing Indonesian women's lives through various programs or projects by the Asia Foundation.
This descriptive and analytical research uses the method of library research or secondary data. The writer collected most of the data from the official website of the Asia Foundation itself. Despite the writer's inability to do field research, the official website of the Asia Foundation provides sufficient data for writer to write in this research. The writer successfully found out the women empowerment programs in Indonesia since 2008 and the report of most programs that are conducted by the Asia Foundation from the official website.
The writer uses qualitative research for this thesis, it can be seen from the case study, descriptive analysis and also the sources of this research. The timeline for this research based on the case study of women empowerment programs conducted by the Asia Foundation in Indonesia from 2008 until 2012. |
