Abstract:
Creating good performance and highly dedicated employees in a company requires
the ability and support of organizational concern that is carried out continuously.
Based on pre-survey data, there is a phenomenon of declining employee
performance in the installation department of PT. GCI Jakarta. PT. GCI is a
company engaged in the fields of communication services and network
development. This study aims to determine the effect of competence, perception of
organizational support, work environment, and employee motivation on employee
performance. Using quantitative methodology, data were collected from a total of
73 employees of the installation department of PT. GCI Jakarta. The analysis was
carried out using SPSS software. The results of the study showed that each
independent variable simultaneously influenced the performance of employees in
the installation department of PT. GCI Jakarta. Competencies have a stronger
influence on worker performance than other aspects. The results of the contribution
of competence, work environment, group encouragement, and employee
motivation simultaneously to their performance were 95.5%, based on the R-Square
test.
