Abstract:
This thesis attempts to analyze the influence of ACFTA to Indonesia's imbalance
trade. This thesis is significant in providing detailed information about the history
of ACFTA, the trade relation between Republic of Indonesia and People's
Republic of China before ACFTA, the trade relation between Republic of
Indonesia and People's Republic of China after ACFTA, the positive and negative
impact of ACFTA to the trade relations between Republic of Indonesia and
People's Republic of China, and also the opportunities and challenges of
Indonesia in ACFTA. This research attempt to conduct a comprehensive analysis
on Republic of Indonesia's opportunities to take the advantages from ACFTA
through the trade cooperation with People's Republic of China. This descriptive
and analytical study uses the method of Library Research that is analyzing
historical records and documents of ACFTA, to gain more information. Before
ACFTA established, Indonesia and China already had bilateral cooperation when
ACFTA was established and then implemented, it directly influenced the
cooperation between Republic of Indonesia and People's Republic of China,
because since ACFTA was established, the bilateral cooperation process between
Republic of Indonesia and People's Republic of China had changed to free trade
cooperation. There are some factors that become the reasons for development of
trade cooperation between Republic of Indonesia and People's Republic of China.
ACFTA automatically affect the cooperation between Republic of Indonesia and
People's Republic of China by the export or import from both countries, because
ACFTA will transform the trade regulation of both countries before.
