Abstract:
The focus of this research is to indicate what is the cause of the failure of Israel’s
National Security Doctrine in the October 7
th,2023 Attack, this research indicates that
the Fundamental Principles of Israel’s National Security Doctrine are ineffective in
predicting the attack by Hamas in October 7th
, 2023. In retrospect, it is important to
use the qualitative method in this research by analyzing Israel’s National Security
Doctrine, the definition, and the implementation of the Fundamental Principles in
Israel National’s Security Doctrine during the October 7th, 2023 Attack, using
qualitative sources (such as journals, books, and reports). This is to asses the
resilience of Israel’s National Security Doctrine and the failure of the Fundamental
Principles of Israel’s National Security Doctrine during and prior to the attack by
Hamas on October 7th
,2023. Given the failure of Israel’s National Security Doctrine
and the failure of the Fundamental Principles of Israel’s National Security Doctrine,
there is a need for revision or update in Israel’s National Security Doctrine.
