Abstract:
This research is expected to provide scientific contribution to the study of the
significance of the increase in the pilgrimage quota on a country''s economic
growth. Bilateral relations between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia greatly
influence the implementation of the Hajj in Indonesia. This bilateral
relationship can play an important role in the economic conditions of both
countries, both Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, because sectors such as
transportation, and tourism, both government and private, are the sectors that
first feel the impact of the implementation of the Hajj. President Joko Widodo
and King Salman Abdul Aziz are at the forefront of economic diplomacy
between the two countries. As the spearheads of the two countries, they serve
as good representatives for both countries, as shown by the many
opportunities for cooperation in the fields of economy, tourism, and culture.
and the implementation of the Hajj and the Hajj quota are one of the main
topics of discussion in bilateral cooperation between the two countries,
