dc.description.abstract The Myanmar Military Coup in February 2021 led to a severe humanitarian crisis, drawing global attention to the role of ASEAN, the regional body overseeing Myanmar. Indonesia, as a key player in ASEAN, was expected to lead efforts in resolving the crisis. Indonesia initiated "shuttle diplomacy" to form the Five-Point Consensus at the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, 2021. However, after three years, the Myanmar conflict remains unresolved, despite three ASEAN leadership rotations. This research explores how ASEAN influences Indonesia’s role in addressing the Myanmar crisis. It applies institutional liberalism theory, which explains how international organizations can shape national policies. The research adopts a qualitative approach, gathering primary data from official statements, policies, and research by the Indonesian government, ASEAN, the United Nations, and other institutions. en_US
