dc.description.abstract The objective of this research is to find out the level of employee engagement through high performance work system (HPWS) approach. Based on nine indicator of employee engagement in HPWS approch of which are pay, common objectives, result driven business task-relationship, continuously improving organization, assessment and renewal, managing by principles, teamwork, informed people, goal setting, problem solving, and respect the capability. Based on this quantitative descriptive and experimental research, the data were collected through questionnaires in Guttman scale (scalogram analysis) distributed to 713 respondents in PT MIM using population sampling method. The data obtained have met the reliability test, validity test, and using champion’s formula to produce data result. The results of hypothesis testing shows that all indicator shown in range 70% - 95% that indicate high level of employee engagement. These findings show that the related factors should have given attention to assessment and renewal in the organization. Some suggestions have been recommended for the organization and for future research to be more complete and comprehensive. en_US
