THE READINESS OF ACCOUNTING STUDENTS FOR ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (A CASE STUDY OF ACCOUNTING STUDENTS OF PRESIDENT UNIVERSITY BATCH 2011)

Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the relation between ethical, knowledge, relationship, analysis competency and the level of readiness of President University accounting students batch 2011 for the ASEAN Economic Community. The method that researcher used is multiple regression also used primary data that has specific information collected by the researcher and secondary data. The primary data are collected by spreading questionnaire to the 100 respondents. Secondary data is the data that have been already collected then readily available published by ASEAN. Inside the questionnaire, tool for measure the degree of agreement from respondents is Likert Scale. Test that include in quantitative analysis are reliability and validity test, classical assumptions test, and linear multiple regression to conclude the hypothesis testing through F-test, T-test, and coefficient determination (R2). The results showed that the level of readiness of President University accounting students batch 2011 has a positive significant relation with ethical, knowledge, relationship, analysis competency.
