dc.description.abstract This research was done to determine the factors that affect the overall job satisfaction of the food and beverage employees of Hotel XYZ. The variables being researched is “work itself”, “working conditions”, “pay”, “promotion”, “supervision”, and “co-worker”. The data for this research was gathered by distributing questionnaires to the population of 35 staff members of the food and beverage department of Hotel XYZ. The questionnaire is then analyzed using reliability testing and validity testing. The data itself is then passed through classical assumption test and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was also done using both T-testing for individual independent variables and F-testing for all independent variables simultaneously. The questionnaire passed the reliability and validity testing and the data itself has passed classical assumption testing. The analysis has shown that the variable of “work itself” has no partially positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. The remainders of the variables, namely “working condition”, “pay”, “promotion”, “supervision”, and “co-worker”, each have a partially positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. When put together, all independent variables have a simultaneously positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. The Coefficient of Determination (R2) value of 0.88 means that the model used in this research is able to explain 88% of the job satisfaction that the employees of the food and beverage department of Hotel XYZ are experiencing. en_US
