dc.description.abstract Servant leadership has become a famous of leadership theory today. It is different from previous theories where leaders serve-first its employees need. According to a survey conducted by Edelman Indonesia (2013), Indonesia has a crisis in leadership. Thus, the researcher is interested to conduct a study about servant leadership, but focus on the school level. It is because the researcher has a thought that may be servant leadership can become an alternative to solve this problem in Indonesia, especially in educational institutions. The aim of this study is to rank the most dominant factor of teacher expectations toward principal leadership style based on servant leadership in International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS), Lippo Cikarang. Therefore, respondents of this research are all of teachers in IIBS Lippo Cikarang. This research is using quantitative research with primary data, where the questioner has already passed the pilot test. The OLA (Organizational Leadership Assessment) by James Laub is used to measure the servant leadership. Factor analysis is used for the instrument in this research. The result of the research shows that there are 2 variables latent that present as the dominant factor of teacher expectations toward principal leadership style based on servant leadership: Human Relations and principal’s Managerial Functions. en_US
