dc.description.abstract This study is about to analyze the relationship between cassava and corn productions as substitute products on the volume of imported rice from 1982 – 2011 in Indonesia.. The researcher found the growth of production volume of cassava and corn as a substitute product of rice in Indonesia may give effect to the amount of imported rice. The author uses this as the problem identification. This research used secondary data as its instrument. The secondary data obtained through the study of literature, searching the internet, journals, and e-book. Soft ware is used to help manufacture of this study is Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, PDF, and SPSS 16. Single and Multiple regressions used as its method. The f-test was used to find out the simultaneously influence from independent variables to the dependent variable and the t-test was used to find the partially influence from independent variables to dependent variable. The classical assumption also used to find out if there is any error exists in the data. The 4 assumptions are normality assumption, multicollinearity assumption, heteroskedasticity assumption, and auto-correlation assumption. The author used SPSS version 16.0 and Microsoft Excel 2007 to process the data. There were 30 data that researcher collect to be able to make the analysis. Based on the findings, the significant value for f-test is 0,819 which is above the significant level of 0.05, and it shows that the independent variables don’t give simultaneously influence to the dependent variable. The result of T-test shows that cassava and corn production factors may not give partially influences to the volume of imported rice. en_US
