Abstract:
PT. X is one of the companies engaged in textile export sector that move as an agent or intermediary. During its development, there are some problems experienced by PT. X such as the delaying of transaction process, lack of employee and pending L/C opening from the buyer due to unpredictable problem. There is also another problem that occur there, that is the unstable condition of total commission earnings and total export from one month to another month. The unstable condition that occurs here is a change up and down of total commission earnings and export that is unpredictable. Many factors influence such kind of problem occurs in PT. X.
This thesis will use the theory of marketing mix that consist of 4 (four) elements those are product, price, place and promotion to analyze the problem because some of the elements in marketing mix are become one of the most influencing factors that affect this problem. The research is focusing on acquiring the primary data and secondary data form PT. X through several stages such as interview, documentation and observation. Some article about PT. X itself also will be described briefly in this thesis by the researcher.
Based on the analysis conducted, the researcher manages to identify some factors that affect this matter from the analysis toward the record and graphic of total commission earning and export and also from the list of email communication that leads the transaction relate to the problem happen in PT. X regarding with this thesis. Some of them are caused by the price of the product, quality problem of the goods and the bad market situation that happen in specific country of PT. X’s buyer or supplier.
