THE ANALYSIS OF CHINESE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS MOTIVATION STUDYING IN INDONESIA (A CASE STUDY OF PRESIDENT UNIVERSITY)

Abstract

The researcher picked this topic as President University has a lot of Chinese International Students in the campus, and the researcher is curious about the interest of Chinese International Students pursuing their degree in Indonesia. Researcher’s research population is Chinese International Students who studied in President University. The sample is 100 and 60% of the respondents is male and the rest is female. The research method being used is Factor Analysis. The data that extracted from SPSS by using Factor Analysis method is reformed to 6 factors that are going to be explained the connection between these variables. The result which is already been analyzed showed that only 68% of the variance that could be explained. The conclusion of this research is the Chinese people come here because of the scholarship, English learning environment and the needs of independent. While the most correlated factor is the self-actualization, life satisfaction and self-challenge.
