Abstract:
This study is performed to examine the influence of Current Ratio (CR), Earnings per Share (EPS), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E) towards stock price in PT Bumi Resources Tbk over period 2000 – 2011.
In this research, the researcher used quantitative analysis and the sample taken from secondary data which is obtained from library of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), official website of the company and Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD), and yahoo Finance. is PT Bumi Resources Tbk. The analysis technique used is multiple regressions and hypothesis test using T-Test statistic to examine partial regression coefficient and F-Test statistic to examine the stimulant influence with level of significant is 5 %.
The research results that Current Ratio (CR), Earnings per Share (EPS), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have significant influence to Stock Price of PT Bumi Resources Tbk. Then price to earnings to Ratio (P/E) has no significant influence to stock price that could be happened because of uncertainty economic and market in the capital market. The researcher suggested that the investors who purposely invest stocks to coal mining companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange, especially PT Bumi Resources Tbk have to give more concern and pay attention to information that issued by the company, because this is the way to make the best decisions before investing stocks in the company. The influential factor to stock price of this research is Current Ratio (CR) and Earnings per share (EPS) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER)
