IDENTITY AND LOCAL WISDOM OF SUNDANESE IN PLANTING RICE AS ECOTOURISM (RESEARCH AT COMMUNITY OF TAJUR VILLAGE AT REGENCY OF PURWAKARTA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Identity and Local Wisdom of Sundanese in Planting Rice as Ecotourism at Community of Tajur Village at Regency of Purwakarta. The method used in the study uses ethnographic methods about the behavior and culture of the Tajur village community as local wisdom, including the type of qualitative research. Gather data by verbal means such as in-depth interviews, then data that appears naturally such as conversations or discourse and data outside the conversation such as observation, documentation, video and visuals. Observations made in this study are the methods of collecting data by observing directly in the field of village Tajur.The findings show Identity and Local Wisdom of Village Tajur and why they still want to hold the Local Wisdom, even though there has been a modernization era.The author believes that this research can be used to improve and develop pre-existing theories and this will give them more knowledge about Identity and Local Wisdom.
