Abstract:
This thesis analyzes the influences of the Confucianism on China’s Diplomacy and
Politics under the leadership of president Xi Jinping(2013-2019). From the first year
of Xi Jinping has came to power that he has realized that the importance of the
traditional culture of a country, so that he has put up the ideas of the culture
renaissance in order to enhance the soft power of People’s Republic of China(PRC),
and also he has made many policies toward the culture. This paper uses the qualitative
method with the analysis of the Confucianism effects on the politics and foreign
policy of China. For the Confucianism which is the symbol of the traditional Chinese
culture, and it has the unique significance of the culture history in China as well as the
impacts on today’s politics. What’s more, this study has referred to the primary data of
the government documents and the books or the journals related to the Confucianism
and the political ideology and the foreign policy which has connections between the
traditional Confucianism and the Xi’s leadership. In the same time, it has used the real
case of the international issues related to the ideology of Xi Jinping and the
Confucianism so that means that the traditional ideas can be used in modern society as
well.
