dc.description.abstract |
The Indonesian government has an important role in maintaining the national economy to increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian economy. The current direction of Indonesian foreign policy to explore the non-traditional market in prospective markets, especially South Africa. Research in Indonesia economic diplomacy in South Africa as a non-traditional market is a case study to analyze and explain the Indonesian government strategy in increasing the non-traditional market in South Africa that will be carried out by the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This research covers the bilateral relations between Indonesia and South Africa as a potential market for Indonesia. The result of this study indicates that Indonesia using it’s economic diplomacy to achieve national interest in the economic sector that exists in South Africa. Several strategies used by the Indonesian government in conducting economic diplomacy have increased the economic potential that is quite large for Indonesia |
