dc.description.abstract The climate change may have negative impacts to coffee plantation growth. As the consequents, this will affect to the supplies of coffee for Starbucks business. In this case, in order to secure and maintain the coffee supplies for its business, Starbucks has been trying to formulate some strategies in order to cope with the climate change issues, one of the examples is by running Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs that are related to environmental issues. The study mainly uses Starbucks Corporate Social Responsibility annual report in analyzing the role of Starbucks in Indonesia. In addition, journals and news report related to the csr activities of Starbucks. Therefore, the study aims to explore Starbucks’ business development in Indonesia, how the climate change affects coffee plantation and Starbucks’ coffee production as well as what is the role of Starbucks through its CSR activities in coping with climate change. en_US
