dc.description.abstract Gender inequality has always been a hot issue in our everyday life. Even though it has developed far from how it used to be, gender inequality has never ceased to exist. Indonesia was ranked second in term of the most unsafe country and being claimed to remain as a grim place for working women. Hence, in this study, the researcher aims to find out the direct effects of gender wage gap, gender-based violence and the perception of glass ceiling towards women empowerment and productivity to address the gender equality issues that are happening in a company for the benefits of all parties, including the Multinational Company, women employees and future research. More than that, the indirect effects of these variables towards productivity mediated by women empowerment are also being analyzed. In order to examine whether the direct and indirect effects exist, the researcher uses the quantitative study that is done through spreading questionnaires by purposive sampling. The researcher collected the answers from 135 women who are working in Multinational Corporations in Jabodetabek. The results show that all the variables have both direct and indirect effects towards productivity through women empowerment. However, the researcher finds out several effects in the model that are insignificant. The effect of gender wage gap and gender-based violence to productivity is insignificant. It is also found out that the indirect effect of gender wage gap to productivity mediated by women empowerment is insignificant. en_US
