Abstract:
This research was conducted in star hotels in Pangkalan Kerinci Regency, Kab. Pelalawan. The problem that occurs is not achieving the occupancy target indicates a problem with the hotel’s employee performance. The purpose of this research is to determine and analyze the partially effect of motivation, ability and career development on employee performance and (motivation, ability, and career development) simultaneously on the performance of employees. In this study, the samples taken were 96 respondents from Grand Hotel and Unigraha Hotel. The process of researching data and information was carried out by distributing questionnaires with a choice of Likert scale. The data and information in this study were examined through quantitative research using Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results of the T-test analysis show that all independent variables, namely motivation, ability, and career development have a significant positive influence on employee performance. The results of the F-test show that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance.
