Abstract:
The aim of this research is to analyze the policies and actions about fog-haze
controlling from 2014 to 2015 made by Xi Jinping, the President of China. These
factors include the effectiveness of his policies, the impact on the world, and the
contribution to world environmental protection. In this research, analyze the
policies and actions through comparing the environmental indicators from 2014 to
2015 to determine whether the policies are effective or not, then through the
indicators and reports given by the International Energy Organization to analyze
the effects on the world. Then through the theory of sustainable development and
the global environmentalism theory attempts to find the contributions to the world
environmental protection. The result of this research shows the importance of
environmental protection, how China under Xi Jinping's leadership to solve
fog-haze pollution, prevent further affecting to the world and its contribution to
the global environment. China's fog-haze problem is only a part of the world's
environmental protection, in the case of global warming, all countries must
coordinate effort to deal with this issue.
