Abstract:
This study is focused on share price influence factors in Asian Airlines Industry.
Therefore, this study emphasis on one (1) main research question: ‘What is the
influence factors towards the share price in Asian airlines industry?’ In order to
answer the main question, this study analyses seven (7) hypothesis related with the
influence of Total Passenger; Number of Fleet; Total Employee; Fuel Burn, Safety
Board; Total Board of Director and Total Board of Director Independent; towards
Share Price as airline’s performance measurements. This study is a quantitative
research with the secondary data that generated from annual report of eight (8)
airlines in Asia from 2015 until 2017. This study uses Panel Data Generalized Least
Squares (GLS) Regression by STATA M-64. The findings show if total passenger,
number of fleet, total employee, fuel burn and safety board has significant influence
toward share price.
