Abstract:
This research is talking about capacity planning issues for Jinpeng Garment Factory in Guanzhong. Through this report, it can provide a reference for similar problems, contribute to further research. However, due to research time constraints, capacity planning is only runing on production lines, it can not be applicable in all situations. Also during the design capacity of the planning process, there is several methods used to capacity planning, such as demand forecast, the validity of the analysis, three basic approaches capacity planning. Finally, the result was compared to find out the least cost and overtime method for capacity planning for the plant has the least cost. The use of overtime to fulfill the lack of production yield, the premise of the lowest cost to complete the requirements in final. In the end, it provides research experience and recommendation to further study.
