dc.description.abstract The South China Sea has become a protracted territorial conflict between ASEAN countries and China, one of which is in dispute is the Philippines, in this paper will focus on the Philippines' stance on the problems that occur, this paper will focus on the 2016-2021 period using Foreign Policy theory as a method of approach, to see how the Philippines is trying to defend its country's economic sovereignty by defending its territory and on the one hand still being able to establish cooperation with China as the country's biggest investor. en_US
