dc.description.abstract |
Nowadays, communication has become important for the employee in a company, because of Employees must do their work responsibly to achieve the company’s target goal. Especially in this era, the communication pattern that occurs will be related to the work situation in the company that also relates to employee's performance in the workplace. Because of the communication that also changes, the employees must be adapted again to the communication pattern that happened. This study conducted to find what is the correlation between employee engagement in formal organizational communication processes and employee performance. The research objective is to identify the correlation and how employee engagement in formal organizational communication processes related to employee performance. This study uses quantitative methods with correlation research design. The data analysis of this study is using Pearson Correlation test on SPSS 28. The result of data shows that the Employee’s engagement in formal organizational communication has a significant relationship with the employee’s performance in a business or start-up company and shows the correlation’s direction of both variables is positive. This means when the level of employee engagement in formal organizational communication has increased or is getting higher, it also makes the employee performance get higher too, and vice versa. |
