Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on Indonesia's tourist and creative industries, as well as the country's economy as a whole. The decline in tourists has a direct impact on the occupancy of hotels in Indonesia which decreases about 40%. Bobobox is indonesia’s hottest capsule hotel franchise startup in Bandung. The accommodation service combined with technology and loT for smart travelers and millenial adventure. Bobobox Hotel as one of the players in hotel industry business are facing difficulties in keeping their business sustain due to COVID-19. In this study, the researcher wants to explore the role of health protocol implementation, promotion and facilities improvement to see if it affects visitors’ intention in using Hotel Bobobox. This research is using quantitative approach with snowball sampling and using Microsoft Excel & SPSS 22.0 to analyze and collect the data. The results of the study show the role of implementing health protocols, promotions, and improving facilities. have different results because only two variables that play a role in visitor interest in the Bobobox hotel, such as: promotion and improvement of facilities. The findings of this study, health protocol implementation has not significantly on influence visitors' interest at Bobobox Hotel, in contrast, promotion and improving facility has significantly influence on visitors' interest at Bobobox Hotel. Because the results of the significance value of the health protocol implementation variable is more than 0.05. while for the variable promotion and Improving facility significance value is below 0.05.
