“Raising the Awareness of Sustainable Development Knowledge on Gender Equality, Health, Environment Protection, and Human Rights to Adolescences”

Abstract

Mastering of English vocabulary is one of the obstacles faced by children at Griya Asih Foundation. In addition, their confidence in speaking English both in front of many people and personally is low so it becomes an obstacle for them to learn English. On the other hand, the children at the Griya Asih Foundation are creative where they have their own artistic talents. However, that talent only reached the walls of the room, and the home gate of Griya Asih. Only a few of them ever participated in outside competition. Moreover, bullying, plastic waste, and also the lack of nationalist spirit of Griya Asih's children are still very clear. That is why general knowledge on sustainable development is still lacking for Griya Asih's children. Therefore, learning English and general knowledge are very important materials to learn because they are very international. In addition, it is important to study this material because it can be a provision for children at the Griya Asih Foundation in the future. This is what motivated the group members to do a social project at the Griya Asih Foundation. This social project aims to provide education and learning for students at the Griya Asih Foundation. The method used in this Social Project is teaching related to Quality Educations. Quality Educations, is the fourth goal of the seventeen programs listed in the Sustainable Development Goals, which focuses on providing education to children around the world. The education provided is in accordance with their level of education. Here, the group members are given the responsibility to provide education to the children of the Griya Asih Foundation at the junior high, and vocational school levels. After a month teaching in Griya Asih Foundation, the children more realize and care about the environment, the bad of bullying, and the dangerous of COVID19.
