dc.description.abstract This research is focus on the analysis of the Implementation of the Japanese Defense Policy towards the Threat of North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Development, where the existences of North Korea’s Nuclear weapon program has been categorized as a threat towards Japan and the stability in the region, since North Korea have conducted many of nuclear test in periods of time 2010 – 2016.In order to analyze the Implementation of the Japanese Defense Policy towards the Threat of North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Development, writer put more focus on the Japan’s official documents from 2010-2016, and analyzing the effort of Japan to response the threat of nuclear weapon. Further, Japan have strengthen their military capability by continuously upgrading their Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) in order to response with the physical threat of nuclear weapon, as well as creating deterrence and supporting stability in the region by strengthening Japan alliances with US, by military joint exercise and stationing US Force troops in Japan National Territory. en_US
