Abstract:
During the fourth industrial revolution, technology is making fast progress.
People don't have to download a computer app to their smartphone to look at a
website. People can go to it on the internet. This is called the "fourth industrial
revolution." At the start of 2020, a bad thing called COVID-19 happened, which
caused a lot of businesses to stop. During this time, many restaurants stayed open
but had less contact with customers because the government implemented rules
like PSBB or PPKM to stop the spread of the virus. So businesses could deal with
these changes, a way to order food was made.
People can't stay locked up in their homes forever. Indonesian businesses
need to make progress in order to work well. Also, Indonesia has a lot of different
kinds of food, and people from other parts of the country and people from other
countries should try some of the best dishes here. Many restaurants have their own
ways of ordering food now.
Seeing this problem, a web food ordering system namely e-food was
created, which has different methods and features from other food ordering
applications. One of the most important parts is that it stops offline lines from
being too long. The project used the Greedy algorithm theory and linear equation
formula to determine how long it would take to finish an order. Also, the app
makes it easier for customers and customer service to talk to each other, so users
don't have to ask about their orders if there are delays. This makes it easy for
buyers to find out quickly when their orders are ready.
