Abstract:
This research aims to find out what effects occur on government policies in increasing
fuel price that affect Indonesian society, or more specifically, affect the community
economy, industrial sector, and MSME businesses, at two different times, namely, pre-
fuel increase (2022) and post-fuel increase (2022). All responses in this study were
collected using a questionnaire using a quantitative research design. This research uses
quantitative methods by analyzing statistics using PLS-SEM version 3.2.9. The
population of thisstudy is the economic community, employees, and MSME businesses
that feel the impact of the increase in fuel price in 2022. The research used a Google
Form with a total of 238 respondents based on the population. The findings show that
government policies affect the people economy, the industrial sector, and MSME
businesses before and after the fuel increase (2022). However, the pre-fuel increase
(2022) variables Y1, Y2, and Y3 show that variable X1 has been experienced before
the fuel price increase (2022). Therefore, the author can conclude that there is not much
difference between the two different times but that they have the same and significant
effect on the dependent variable.
