Abstract:
This research would like to measure the effectiveness of the “Introduction to Machines, Tools, and Operational” training in CV. XYZ. There are two assessment tools which are used in this research: examination test to assess the level of knowledge of trainees regarding the machines and tools and the end-of-session assessment which will measure the perception of trainees regarding the aspects of the trainees. The examination test will be calculated by using the paired t-test method while the end-of-session assessment will be firstly tested for the validity and the reliability of the gained data by using the Pearson’s Correlation test and the Cronbach’s Alpha test. Next, the data is calculated by using one sample t-test method. The research result shows that the training has positive effect on the knowledge of trainees on the tools and machines. However, the end-of-session questionnaire shows that there are several aspects of training which is still below average level based on the assessment given by the trainees. Moreover, the Pearson’s Correlation test shows that the aspects which affect the score of employees’ test are the perception of trainees regarding the importance of the training and that different position assess the training session differently.
