| dc.description.abstract | The issue of waste management is still an important problem in Indonesia. In particular, inCibeber, North Cikarang the issue of waste is highly associated with the socio-economic conditions where most of the residents in the village are industrial workers with a tight schedule and no time to manage waste while the people also have a lack of waste managementinitiatives as people are still accustomed to littering in rivers and also burning garbage whichcauses air pollution. Therefore, in line with the sustainable development concept, this projectfocused on waste management training. The project was conducted from July to August 2022 and the implementation was divided into several stages such as preparation, implementation, participant response, and feedback stages. Target participants are people of Cibeber Village from 15 to 30 years old. The training is also into two sessions which are recycling paper wasteand making compost fertilizer training. As a result, the evaluation showed that 90% of participants understood the process of recycling paper waste into useful goods and 80% of participants understood the materials and tools needed as well as the stages of making compostfertilizer. | en_US |
