Abstract:
In today's rapidly evolving job market, Generation Z's tendency to Turnover intention
has attracted significant attention from employers and researchers. Brings unique
expectations and behaviors in the workplace, which are significantly different from
previous generations. This study examines the effect of work stress, work-family
conflict, and career development on turnover intention of Gen Z Jakarta. This survey
research used a questionnaire as an instrument and was analyzed using quantitative
analysis with multiple regression models. data was collected from 180 Gen Z employees
in Jakarta, each with at least six months of work experience. The analysis was
conducted using SPSS software version 29. The results showed that work stress and
work-family conflict had a positive and significant Influence on turnover intention. While career development showed a negative but significant Influence on turnover
intention, these results underscore the important role for companies to practice
transparency and provide feedback to employees about the future of work and factors
related to work and turnover intention among Gen Z employees in Jakarta.
