Abstract:
Solid waste is one of the major problems in Indonesia, and the lack process of
treatment is still the biggest factor to decrease environmental quality. Based
on the SIPSN calculated the amount of solid waste along 2021 is 29,567,204
ton. The higher amount of waste has a relation with the social aspect,
especially in individuals' knowledge, attitude, and behavior toward waste
management. In daily work activities, especially in the office, it can produce
even the slightest waste. The waste can be generated from any activity. In this
case, it should be noted that the sources of waste generation at PT FD include
8 office areas. Each area has its own dominant characteristics of waste
inorganic waste and organic waste. To find out the current condition at PT FD,
waste generation, waste composition, knowledge, attitude, and reward affect
employees' compliance regarding the waste segregation program at the PT FD
office. In this result, the population used were employees from PT FD. Using
purposive sampling refer to the SNI 19-3964-1994 along 8 days, observation
method to collect the data and used logistic regression data analysis method.
Logistic regression analysis aims to determine whether or not there is an
influence of two or more variables X on variable Y (dichotomous). The
amount of average waste is 0.028 kg/person/day or 0.607 L/person/day, and
daily waste is 1.311 kg/day of average waste weight with 25.157 L/day as the
average volume. The dominant waste from paper (43%), plastic (27%), and
last is leftover food (24%). According to the analysis result, the employee’s
attitude and the power of reward have a positive effect on compliance with
waste segregation.
