dc.description.abstract |
This research attempts to explain the understanding of the recruitment process as Legal Indonesian Migrant Workers in order to protect the rights of migrant workers who work abroad. This research is significant in providing detailed information on the influencing factors of the recruitment system as legal migrant workers and also explain about government's role in protecting rights of migrant workers to a better than before and role & programmes that conform with BNP2TKI and Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Malaysia. It took the timeframe of 2011 - 2012 because most of violence cases were experienced by migrant workers, especially legal migrant workers in Malaysia are implemented during this time frame. This descriptive and analytical research uses the method of Library Research which is analyzing historical records and documents publish as first-hand sources. The writer also uses Field Research by doing personal interviews with staff(s) who were involved in the recruitment process for legal migrant workers. Generally, the recruitment system and management conducted by diplomats, local government and the Embassy has been done but for the results showed that far from good and still not optimal. Many problems have not been resolved until this time. However, the programmes conformed well with BNP2TKI's systems. |
