MOBILE PHONE-BASED ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) APPLICATION FOR MANAGING IN MICRO/SMALL/MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (MSMES)

Abstract

The global business nowadays seeks the best and simple application to help their business grow and easy to keep track of their business analysis. The use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has changed the way Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) run their businesses and it allows businesses to expand and get more accurate information about changes in the market. This final project aims to help the MSMEs to have a better business analysis and report. Using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Method to make the application of EasyPlan which consist of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The RAD method is easier to implement because it focuses on each development at once which saves time. Some features in this application are different from the other ERP applications which focus more on the accounting, generating invoice, reporting, tracking income and expenses, and tracking stock and inventory of the business. These features are the most needed for the MSMEs businesses. This project allows business owners to be able to see how their business is doing from the top level. This project should allow business owners to manage their operations with minimal training using a user-friendly mobile application. This project is designed to be modular, which helps for future enhancements and integrations as the business grows.
