FURNIFIT: INTERIOR FURNITURE ASSISTANT

Abstract

The furniture industry is evolving with the advent of digital tools, yet consumers still face challenges in visualizing and evaluating furniture dimensions, leading to errors and increased costs. FurniFit addresses these issues by integrating augmented reality (AR) into a web application, allowing users to measure, visualize, and evaluate furniture placement in real-time within their living spaces. This project enhances user experience by simplifying furniture selection and providing detailed product information and design recommendations based on user preferences. Testing has validated FurniFit's core functionalities, though performance issues like lag need further refinement. FurniFit shows significant potential in the interior design and furniture retail sectors. With continued optimization, it promises to transform furniture selection and placement through AR technology.
