DIRECT CINEMA THEORY APPLICATION FOR ‘TAY KAK SIE FILM’

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to applies Direct Cinema theory by no formal scenario, only narrative and occasion or event. Also to introduce one of familiar klenteng in Semarang, called Tay Kak Sie located in Gang Lombok, Semarang. Klenteng is worship place for Buddhis , Taois , and Confucianese. Nowadays Tay Kak Sie is not only a place for worshiping but also cultural tourism where others can visit and learn about cultural, tourism and old special Semarang culinary like : lumpia, moaci, es campur, etc.
