dc.description.abstract In the use of refined Indramayu Javanese language to build character in coffee traders who are experiencing difficulties in their lives as said by Klarer The character is divided into static dynamic and flat round. Dynamic figures are characters who experience changes in its properties over the course of a story, play or film. Static characters are characters which does not change its properties during the story, play or film. Apartment character is a character who has only one characteristic in a story, play, or film. Around Characters are characters who have more than one characteristic in a story, play, or film. According to the official website of the information and informatics service of the Indramayu district government, indramayukab.go.id entitled Glance of Indramayu Indramayu Javanese or the Dermayu dialect (Javanese: ꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧꦧ, translit. Basa Jawa Indramayu) is a dialect of Javanese spoken on the north coast of West Java, especially in Indramayu Regency, parts of the north and east of Subang Regency, as well as parts of the north of Karawang Regency. Based on research questions, knowing the character of the main character through the process of dialogue with the application of characterization, does the characterization affect the dialogue. How does the characterization process create dialogue. Seen in the background of characters who have persistence and have strong faith and belief, Trust can be said to be the way of life of the people, namely the conception that is stated but expressed about their place in the midst of nature and about the ins and outs of their world (Haviland translated Soekadijo, 1985 :229). As is the case with tirakat, that is, some traditional societies believe that tirakat is one of the acts of worship recommended by several religions. This proves that the character's background affects the dialogue. In the narrative strategy, it shows the character development after facing various problems that happened to the protagonist, making the protagonist more confident in the beliefs he professes. en_US
