APPLYING OF THE THEMATIC CONCEPT IN DOCUMENTARY FILM PRODUCTION AGOES NOOR

Abstract

The thematic narrative technique is one of the director's narrative styles in conveying the visualization of his film to people watching in one scene. The thematic technique aims to provide the audience with an easier understanding of the content of the film. The author uses this narrative technique in the film Agoes Noor in order to convey feelings and understanding about artistic work from the perspective of the speaker himself, namely Mr. Agus Nur. In it the author provides several chapters which have been arranged in such a way that they correspond to the time sequence of explanations from the sources. In the documentary film Agoes Noor The author provides 4 segments/acts, with their respective themes. The aim is to focus the discussion on one topic, namely Agus Nur's life journey as a street painter.
