dc.description.abstract Visual Metaphor is a creative concept in conveying messages without words. According to Blain Brown, visual metaphors can help directors create an image to convey meaning beyond reality. Visually, it can be thought of as "reading between the lines". many images have implied meanings that can help tell stories (Blain Brown, 2020). By applying Visual Metaphors in Overtime, the director believes that he can transfer meaning in conveying the narrative to the audience. en_US
