dc.description.abstract In order to improve the story in a movie, sound is a crucial component. We can experience the mood of the movie and the emotions it generates through sound. Here, the narrative of the movie "Life in a Fishbowl" is significantly influenced by music. "Life in a Fishbowl" uses music to accompany its scenes, giving the audience a more dramatic and immersive experience of the characters' emotions. Two emotional processes that humans can identify when listening to music are described in the publication Perceiving Emotions in Music: Examining the Effects of Sound Quality, Alexithymia, and Empathy (2023): (1) Observing emotion: music communicates the emotions experienced by the listener; (2) Feeling emotion: music reflects the feelings experienced by the listener. Moments in a film accompanied by music will certainly make us feel the emotions in the film more strongly and help us connect with the characters and story of the film. en_US
