This project seeks to develop the documentary film script titled "Sanggar Anak Kita
Bantar Gebang" by employing thematic theory to explore how interconnected themes can
effectively convey information in each segment. The film is designed to highlight the
pivotal role of education in enhancing human capital for children living near the
Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST) Bantar Gebang. Sanggar Anak Kita, as a
non-formal educational institution, serves as a critical platform for cultivating essential
skills and knowledge, offering learning and recreational activities to children from the
scavenger community. The documentary is structured into three key segments: the
socio-economic conditions of the Bantar Gebang community, the educational programs
and impact of Sanggar Anak Kita, and insights from formal education through an
interview with a PGSD lecturer. By utilizing thematic theory, the narrative is crafted to
cohesively illustrate the contribution of non-formal education to human capital
development, particularly in shaping the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of
children in the area. Ultimately, this documentary aims to provide a deeper understanding
of the role of education in fostering human capital and improving the socio-economic
prospects of children in Bantar Gebang. It also seeks to inspire support for the
sustainability of non-formal education initiatives like Sanggar Anak Kita, which play a
significant role in community empowerment. |
