dc.description.abstract The social project “Improving Children’s Cultural and English Literacy Through Diplomacy Simulation” is an educational program that aims to improve foreign language speaking skills, particularly in English and cultural literacy for children through an interactive and fun method. This program includes four primary activities, namely basic English learning, introduction to global culture, public speaking training, and children’s diplomacy simulation based on Model United Nations (MUN). The implementation of this program applies Participatory Approaches Resource (PAR) approaches, including educational games, poster making, group discussion and role playing in diplomacy simulation at the children’s level of understanding. In line with UNESCO's Global Citizenship Education (GCED) framework, this program not only improves children's linguistic abilities but also fosters empathy, respect for diversity, and a sense of responsibility as global citizens. The purpose of this program is to build children's self-confidence, improve foreign language skills so they can communicate across cultures and raise awareness of the importance of tolerance. The findings indicate that the program has been effective in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere and in helping children understand the importance of tolerance, mutual respects and tolerance openness to differences. The evaluation results also show a significant improvement in children's English literacy, as they are now able to use a wider vocabulary, construct simple sentences, and are more confident in reading and writing English words. en_US
